SuperNext 2025: Digital Ethics, AI and New Generations
The talk I gave to around 700 people at SuperNext 2025 on new generations, artificial intelligence and bringing its uses into business with judgement.

On 31 October 2025, I spoke at SuperNext, an event organised by the Uruguayan Supermarkets Association at the Punta del Este Convention Centre. In front of an audience of around 700 people, I discussed digital ethics, artificial intelligence and new generations.
The Context
SuperNext brought together supermarket-sector professionals and executives to discuss changes already affecting the industry: evolving consumers, new habits, technology, hybrid channels and the need for organisations to adapt without losing sight of people.
Artificial intelligence was part of a broader business conversation. The point was not simply to learn about tools, but to understand which uses make sense, which decisions still require human judgement and how new generations' relationship with technology and work is changing.
The Talk: Digital Ethics, AI and New Generations
The aim was to bring artificial intelligence down to understandable, applicable situations. We discussed real uses, the questions organisations should ask before adopting it and the responsibility that arises when technology begins to influence decisions, processes and relationships with customers and teams.
The generational perspective was central to the session. Younger people do not approach AI as an isolated novelty: they naturally integrate it into how they learn, work and solve problems. For organisations, understanding that relationship is as important as choosing the right tool.
The Main Idea
Adopting AI does not mean using it everywhere. It means recognising where it adds value, where it introduces risk and which part of a decision should not be delegated. Technology can accelerate work, but purpose, context and responsibility still belong to people.
